Once cooled take out of plastic wrap and slice your pinwheels to Desired size (I say about the size of a sushi roll) then enjoy and root on Carrie and your fav sports team!

CARRIE UNDERWOOD PENS AND RECORDS ANTHEMIC “THE CHAMPION” FOR NBC’S SUPER BOWL LII SHOW OPEN
Nashville, TN – Multi-platinum superstar Carrie Underwood will open NBC’s Super Bowl LII on February 4 with a video filmed last year for her anthemic song, “The Champion,” released globally today. Underwood, who has been the face and voice of NBC’s Sunday Night Football show open for the last five seasons, co-wrote “The Champion” last year with fellow songwriters Brett James, Chris DeStefano, and Christopher Bridges PKA Ludacris, who Underwood asked to collaborate on the event song produced by Jim Jonsin. NBC Sports will also incorporate “The Champion” into its coverage of the 2018 Olympic Winter Games.
“When we met with Carrie last year to discuss the Super Bowl open, we each brought ideas. Carrie presented first. After she spoke, we looked at each other and said ‘that’s the one,’” said Fred Gaudelli, Executive Producer of NBC Sunday Night Football and the network’s Super Bowl LII presentation. “Later on, our Olympics producers listened to ‘The Champion’ and decided that it would be a perfect complement for our Winter Games coverage. We are excited to highlight ‘The Champion’ in two events on the global stage in February.”
“When we were writing ‘The Champion,’ our main focus was to celebrate athletes at the top of their game, but we also wanted the song to resonate with people in their everyday lives,” explains Carrie Underwood. “We hope the lyrics will inspire people to push themselves beyond their limits to conquer anything they are trying to accomplish or overcome. There’s a champion in every single one of us!”
Ludacris says, “It was a pleasure to collaborate with Carrie for this inspirational song.”
The lyric video and playlist for “The Champion” are available now.
Underwood is currently in the studio working on her next album which will be released on Capitol Records Nashville.

What is the farthest you have travelled for a Carrie Underwood show? Laughlin, Nevada Summer Concert 2015
What is one thing that sets you apart from other Carrie Underwood fans? I am a So-Cal fan! I know there’s a lot of us out here, but we don’t get to see Carrie often! I still look up to her every day for her love and adoration for God.
Tell us your favorite Carrie Underwood related story: The last time I “met” Carrie was at Jimmy Kimmel for Storyteller. It was after the outdoor concert, and a few Fan Club members and myself were waiting for her in the alley with her band members (who were so sweet to us!). I had this huge mission to get Carrie to sign my boot. We waited about 20 minutes and we saw her coming our way. I quickly took off my boot, by I was so nervous because I didn’t know how she was going to react! Anxiously, I held out my boot for her to sign. She laughed and said, “Wait. Are you not wearing shoes?” I replied, “Well, no I took it off for you to sign!” She laughed so hard! It was hilarious. Then we took a selfie together: it was the best moment ever, and the greatest laugh!

What is one thing that sets you apart from other Carrie Underwood fans? One thing that sets me apart from other Carrie Underwood fans is that I got to meet Ace up close and personal and totally by accident. It was during the Play On Tour in Portland, Oregon. I am directionally challenged and we were walking around the arena and accidentally walked into the area where they park the busses. We left as soon as we realized we were not supposed to be there, but not before seeing Mina walking Ace. I was so embarrassed!
Tell us your favorite Carrie Underwood related story: I am lucky enough to have many favorite Carrie Underwood related stories. I’ve gotten to meet her twice, once where she sang Don’t Forget to Remember Me during the meet and greet, meet Ace, made the band laugh, gotten many waves and points, etc.
My favorite story is when I had asked in my first meet and greet if she could dedicate Temporary Home to my mom because her dad passed away 9 days before the concert. I in no way expected her to remember this, but during the concert she saw me in the 2nd row and she did it! My mom couldn’t believe it! I was a fan of her before this moment, but she made a fan for life by her kind gesture. She is one of a kind!

Tell us your favorite Carrie Underwood related story: Probably my favorite Carrie story is the day that I won a Meet and Greet. Back in 2012, I was a senior in high school and I can say that it was the best day of my life. Carrie is the sweetest and is definitely so beautiful inside and out.
