Carrie Nominated for 2 Teen Choice Awards!
Carrie has been nominated in two categories for the 2007 Teen Choice Awards: “Choice Music: Female Artist” and “Choice Music: Payback Track” for “Before He Cheats.” If you are a Teen, make sure you vote for Carrie at Teen Choice 2007!
The 2007 Teen Choice Awards will air live on Sunday, August 26 at 8/7c on FOX.

NASHVILLE – (June 27, 2007) – Carrie Underwood will perform for FASHION ROCKS™ on September 6, 2007 during New York’s Fashion Week as the Conde Nast Media Group presents its fourth annual event at Radio City Music Hall. The show brings together amazing musical performances and the world’s hottest fashions in a star-studded extravaganza celebrating the relationship between fashion and music. The concert will air the following night Friday, September 7, 2007 in a two-hour special on the CBS television network (9:00-11:00 PM, ET/PT). This will be Underwood’s first FASHION ROCKS™ performance.
Additional musical performers include Aerosmith, Alicia Keys, Avril Lavigne, Fall Out Boy, Fergie, Jennifer Hudson, Jennifer Lopez, Ludacris, Martina McBride, Santana and Usher. Jeremy Piven will host.
The Fashion Rocks™ magazine will also return this year. Slated to reach over 60 million readers and filled with even more editorial content, Fashion Rocks™ magazine will accompany the September issue of 17 Condé Nast titles.

“Before He Cheats” Becomes Country’s Second RIAA-Certified Platinum Mastertone!
Nashville, TN – Two-time GRAMMY winner and reigning CMA and ACM Female Vocalist of the Year Carrie Underwood continues to hit new milestones as her five-week #1 smash, “Before He Cheats,” becomes only the second country song in history to earn RIAA Platinum Mastertone status, recognizing one million purchased ringtones.
Sony BMG Nashville has now garnered the first two Platinum country Mastertones, with “Before He Cheats” following closely on the heels of the March certification of Waylon Jennings’ 1980 RCA #1 single, “Theme from The Dukes of Hazzard (Good Ol’ Boys).”
Already certified as an RIAA Platinum Digital Single (recognizing one million purchased downloads), “Before He Cheats” also recently became the best-selling digital country song in chart history.

Carrie was presented a 6 times platinum plaque for her debut album SOME HEARTS at the CMA Music Festival show at LP Field Coliseum in Nashville on Friday, June 8th.
