So I went and got a phone call the morning of the concert asking if I would like to meet Carrie before the show. Heck yes!! I was so excited and it was a true blessing to get to meet her, she is the kindest, sweetest person you could ever hope to meet. I’m going to Vegas again to see her in concert, hoping for another chance to meet her, as I’m going with my daughter on my 56th birthday this year. December 6th. Mike said: “I think my favorite memory was during the meet and greet at the Denim and Rhinestones Tour meet and greet. I lost my grandpa back in 2021 and the song that helped me go through the pain was the song Temporary Home. When meeting Carrie I asked her if she could write her favorite lyrics of the song for me to design a tattoo in memory of my grandpa, and she agreed. I was a very happy moment for me, and I was very grateful that Carrie was so understanding.”

My favorite memories are from all the concerts I have been to; with my mom, sisters, best friend, and husband… and this month I get to take my 8-year-old daughter to her first Carrie concert at Soaring Eagle Casino. 8-time GRAMMY® Award winner Carrie rocked the stage for the first of three stadium dates she is joining on the North American leg of Guns N’ Roses World Tour 2023 at Croix-Bleue Medavie Stadium in Moncton, NB on Saturday night.

Carrie’s eclectic set, backed by her stellar 8-piece band, included unique mash-ups and covers by some of Carrie’s longtime rock inspirations such as Joan Jett, Pat Benatar, and Heart, while also covering other crowd-pleasing favorites by Rolling Stones, Led Zeppelin, and Motörhead. The enthusiastic crowd also sang along to Underwood’s smash hits, as well as newer tracks from her most recent album, Denim & Rhinestones.

During Guns N’ Roses headlining set, Carrie joined the iconic rock legends for their classic hit “Sweet Child O’ Mine,” and was invited back again to the stage for the night’s final number, the anthemic “Paradise City.”

Carrie appears with Guns N’ Roses again at the Parc Jean-Drapeau in Montreal, QE on August 8, and at GEODIS Park in Nashville, TN on August 26.

Carrie made worldwide headlines last year when she welcomed Guns N’ Roses frontman Axl Rose as a surprise special guest during her headlining performance at the Stagecoach Festival in April 2022.  She joined the band onstage that summer for two songs during each of their July 1 and 2 shows at the UK’s Tottenham Hotspur Stadium, and Rose made another surprise appearance during the L.A. Crypto.com Arena stop on Carrie’s Denim & Rhinestones Tour, earlier this year.

After completing her 43-city The Denim & Rhinestones Tour in March, Carrie resumed her ongoing REFLECTION: The Las Vegas Residency at Resorts World Las Vegas, which continues in September.  She will star in her 11^th consecutive show open for NBC’s Sunday Night Football this Fall, and recently launched her exclusive year-round channel, CARRIE’S COUNTRY, on SiriusXM.  A deluxe edition of her Denim & Rhinestones album, featuring six new tracks, will be out September 22.

Multi-Platinum, 8-time GRAMMY® Award winner Carrie will star in the show open for NBC’s Sunday Night Football for the 11^th consecutive season beginning September 10 on NBC and Peacock.

The new show open – headlined by an updated rendition of “Waiting All Day for Sunday Night” – features a concert performance interspersed with augmented reality highlights displayed across a halo scoreboard. Carrie, who performed the open from The Resorts World Theatre in Las Vegas, home of her ongoing residency, REFLECTION, also adds a surprise new element this season.

“Once again, the incredible Sunday Night Football team came up with a fresh, exciting visual concept that really gave us a chance to play,” said Carrie.  “I loved shooting the show open again this year at our home away from home, The Resorts World Theatre in Las Vegas, and can’t wait for another season of football!”

“We’re thrilled to work with Carrie to capture a new vision for this season’s show open. It sets the tone for the broadcast and pays tribute to the teams, star players and fans in a fun and dynamic way,” said Tripp Dixon, creative director of the SNF show open for each of the past 11 years. 

The show open for Sunday Night Football, primetime television’s No. 1 program for an unprecedented 12 consecutive years, will debut on Sunday, Sept. 10 on NBC and Peacock leading into Dak Prescott and the Dallas Cowboys visiting Daniel Jones and the NFC East rival New York Giants. The matchup marks the series-high fifth time that the Cowboys and Giants have met in the opening NBC Sunday Night Football game.

OFFICIAL CONTEST RULES

1) CONTEST: Fan Appreciation Contest Contest (the “Contest”).

2) CONTEST SPONSOR: The Official Carrie Underwood Fan Club, Sparkart Group, Inc., and their respective affiliates and subsidiaries, advertising and promotional agencies, suppliers of prizes, material and services related to this Contest (collectively, “Sponsor and its Agents”).

3) INTRODUCTION: For good and valuable consideration (including, without limitation, the possibility of publicity), the receipt and sufficiency of which are hereby acknowledged, you are submitting certain design(s), illustrations, logos, artwork, photographs, videos, animation, writings, proposed product and/or brand names, idea(s), concept(s), communication(s), programming code, and/or other material(s) (the “Submission”) as part of your entry to the Contest upon the following express understandings and conditions.

4) ELIGIBILITY: Open to legal residents of the U.S. (except Puerto Rico) and Canada (excluding Quebec) 13 years of age or older. 7) SUBMISSION TERMS AND CONDITIONS; SPONSOR’S OWNERSHIP AND USE OF SUBMISSIONS; YOUR AGREEMENT TO UNRESTRICTED USE:  By entering your Submission into this Contest, you hereby grant, transfer and convey to the Sponsor and its Agents all rights, title and interests in and to the Submission, including but not limited to the irrevocable, royalty-free right to trademark, copyright, reproduce, encode, store, copy, transmit, publish, post, broadcast, display, publicly perform, adapt, exhibit and/or otherwise use or reuse (without limitation as to when or to the number of times used) your Submission (as submitted or as edited/modified in any way by the Sponsor and its Agents, in the sole discretion of the Sponsor and its Agents) on the The Official Carrie Underwood Fan Club website, other websites, in concerts, on merchandise, for television, motion pictures, in home video copies, and in other media, whether now known or hereafter invented, throughout the world for any purpose whatsoever, without limitation, and without additional review, compensation, or approval from you or any other party.

(a) You acknowledge and agree that you have no right of approval or consultation with respect to Sponsor and its Agent’s use of the Submission.

(b) You agree to provide the Submission at no cost to Sponsor and its Agents or any other party.

(c) You represent and warrant, and agree to further do so in writing, that you possess all necessary rights and authority to grant, transfer and convey to Sponsor and its Agents all the rights herein granted.

(d) You represent and warrant, and agree to further do so in writing, that the Submission is wholly original with you and does not and will not violate the right of privacy or publicity of, or constitute a defamation against any person or entity and that it does not and will not infringe upon or violate the copyright, contract rights, proprietary rights, or common law rights or any other rights of any other person or entity.

(e) You represent and warrant, and agree to further do so in writing, that the Submission has not been entered into a previous contest or has received any awards and has also not been published previously in any medium.

(f) You agree to indemnify and hold harmless the Sponsor and its Agents and their respective officers, directors, employees, agents, parent companies, subsidiaries and affiliates from and against any and all claims, liabilities, demands and expenses (including, but not limited to, reasonable attorney’s fees) arising out of or resulting from possession or use in any manner of the Submission.

8) WINNER SELECTION AND NOTIFICATION: Three (3) winners will be chosen, at the sole discretion of Sponsor and its Agents, who will review and judge the Submissions privately. Winners will be notified by email and/or telephone on or about August 15, 2023, and potential winners may be required to sign and return an Affidavit of Eligibility and Publicity/Liability Release (where lawful) within 7 days of the date of notification, in which the winner will acknowledge that the Submission is a “work for hire” and will irrevocably transfer to the Sponsor and its Agents any and all rights, title, goodwill and interest in and to the Submission, including without limitation, all copyrights, trademarks and waive all moral rights in such Submission.  If the Affidavit of Eligibility and Publicity/Liability Release is not received within 7 days of the date of notification, the prize may be forfeited (at the sole discretion of Sponsor and its Agents) and an alternate winner selected. Prizes will be delivered only to addresses in the United States or Canada. The timing and method of delivery of the prize will be determined at the sole discretion of Sponsor and its Agents.  Return of any prize or prize notification as undeliverable may result in the prize being forfeited and an alternate winner selected.  The winner shall bear all risks of loss or damage to prize after it has been delivered. No prize substitutions or cash equivalents are allowed, except at the sole discretion of the Sponsor and its Agents.  Prizes may not be transferred. On Wednesday, June 14, 2023, country music superstar and Resorts World Theatre resident headliner, Carrie, received a grand welcome at Resorts World Las Vegas to celebrate her June 21, 2023 return to the stage for REFLECTION: The Las Vegas Residency. During a private reception, Underwood celebrated the highly-anticipated return of her ongoing residency with a pink champagne waterfall toast in the Crockfords lobby alongside invited guests following her arrival to the property in a signature red Rolls Royce. 

Underwood stated, “I feel very special right now. It truly was an honor to open the Theatre at Resorts World and to be the first on that stage. [Resorts World] has been our home away from home, and we’re excited for the rest of this year and hopefully, a long time to come.”
