Tell us your favorite Carrie Underwood memory: My favorite Carrie Underwood memory would definitely be the Storyteller tour! My first concert ever was the Storyteller tour, and not only was it special because it was my first of many concerts, but it was even more special because I had been a huge fan of Carrie for a while, and getting to experience such an amazing show by the most inspiring woman was the best experience of my life. Now I get to look forward to the Cry Pretty tour and I am counting down the days!

What is your go-to Carrie-Okie song? “Get Outta This Town” (It’s my favorite song to jam and sing really loud to)!

What is the best part about being a Carrie Underwood fan? There are so many good things about being a fan of Carrie Underwood, but the best part is always having someone to look up to. I look up to Carrie for many reasons, especially her kindness and generosity. Carrie inspires me to try and be the best person I can be and to stay Faithful always, and I am so proud to call myself a Care Bear!

Tell us your favorite Carrie Underwood memory: I can not pick a favorite memory. Does it even count as a Carrie Underwood memory unless Carrie was there? lol I have SEVERAL AMAZING Carrie Underwood memories thanks to my wonderful husband of 10 years now. He has always supported my love & respect for Carrie. He purchased my first concert tickets 3 states away from home just so I could experience not only a concert but a CARRIE concert!! Talk about setting the bar high for all other concerts in life to follow. We arrived so early just in hopes to meet her but there was a traffic jam & we took a detour around it not realizing Carrie’s tour bus was RIGHT INFRONT OF US!! So she arrived a little later than they planned & she had to rush in. I took in every moment that night. Seeing her in person for the first time, being just 20 ft away EEKKK!! Fast forward to 2019… We now have a daughter with mild CP & she has taken a love for Carrie as well & we will all be standing in General Admission together & I can not wait to see how she reacts seeing Carrie in person the first time also. The Champion has hands down been an anthem in our house with all the battles our family has been through together.

What is your go-to Carrie-Okie song? “What Can I Say” from Play On. My husband sings it with me!

What is the best part about being a Carrie Underwood fan? The best part of being a Carrie fan is knowing I support someone so giving, caring, kind & humble.

The Academy of Country Music® revealed the winners of the new artist categories for the 54TH ACADEMY OF COUNTRY MUSIC AWARDS™, Country Music’s Party of the Year®. Luke Combs, LANCO and Ashley McBryde have been named New Male Artist of the Year, New Vocal Group of the Year and New Female Artist of the Year, respectively. The winners each received a surprise phone call from 14-time ACM Award® winner, two-time ACM Entertainer of the Year and current ACM Award nominee Carrie Underwood, who won the 2005 New Female Vocalist category at the 2006 ACM Awards.

Carrie Underwood and each of the new artist winners will all perform on the show. The awards telecast, hosted by Reba McEntire, will air LIVE from the MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas on Sunday, April 7, 2019 at 8:00 PM ET / delayed PT on the CBS Television Network.
